Nick Hindle Stonemasons is an independent local family business which has over 35 years experience in providing quality memorials and stonework to families and business in the Norfolk area. We also work around the U.K. on a wide range of projects including The National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire and we have provided military memorials for The Ministry of Defence for over 10 years.
Nick, his wife Sharon and 2 children live in North Walsham. Nick served a five year apprenticeship with a local memorial company and was trained in all aspects of memorial production including hand cut lettering, carving, sculpture and design. These traditional techniques are now combined with the new modern ways of working stone.
We have been awarded many national awards by NAMM (the National Association of Memorial Masons) including memorial design of the year, best hand cut lettering and best slate memorial. These pieces of work can be seen on display at our workshop in Wroxham and they have very often been loaned out for shows and displays around the county of Norfolk.
With our knowledge in providing individual bespoke memorials we will guide families on the selection of material, shape, design and style of lettering. We would seek church or cemetery approval on behalf of the family and a full installation service is also provided. A 10 year settlement guarantee is given free of charge.
We are able to offer high quality memorials at very competitive prices in various materials including Granite, Limestone, Slate and Marble. From a simple vase or headstone, to a bespoke individually designed memorial. Our range is extensive and allows our customers to select the perfect tribute for their loved one.
Additional inscriptions and renovation work are also undertaken which can include cleaning, realignment and refurbishment of lettering. This work can often be carried out on site or taken back to the workshop.
